Initial Consulting and Planning
If you are unsure how to present your company on your web site, we provide
an initial free consultation.
We can suggest how best to do so.
During our initial consultation, we get a basic understanding of what you
are trying to accomplish in developing a web presence. Here we will help define
your basic goals, and mission behind the project.
After signing a contract to hire us on an hourly basis, our staff will begin
developing your site specifications, and move toward establishing the following:
Basic Site Layout -- This can include setting up
a prototype web site for you and your company to review
Site Architecture
Technical Arrangements
A Schedule for Site Completion
Two (2) Detailed Cost Estimates (Low/High)
Average Time to complete: 1-2 weeks
Development
After approving the final estimate, and an agreement is signed the actual development can begin.
Our staff will now set up our test server, and create the approved layout, design and
business rules for your web site. Final photographs, illustrations, and Internet
architecture begin to take place, and your web site comes alive. We allow you to
work directly with us by using the testing area on our server and only giving you
access. All back end issues are addressed, and corrected, and you approve the
site before final publication.
Once your company has approved the site, the hosting issues are handled and your new web site
is published to the web for all to see and appreciate.
Testing
Testing will be done with the most recent versions of Netscape Communicator and Microsoft
Internet Explorer, the two most popular Internet browsers.
If specific browser compatibility is required, testing of other
browsers and versions might also be appropriate.
Web Site Documentation (optional)
Your company may choose to have us create "as-built" documentation. This document would include
a description of what each page does and/or needs to function correctly. However, the web site code
will be documented throughout the coding process.
Search Engine Submission (optional)
Well, the your web site has been created, the hard work is all over, right?
Not Hardly!
Now comes the hard part, driving people to your site. Unless you have more money
floating around than you know what to do with, your best bet is to get listed on
the search engines and directories. We can do it for you or show you how! Using
keyword analysis, we can show you which keywords that fit your business are more
likely to pick up the web traffic than others.
NOTE: If you do not see the what would fit your
needs, by all means contact us.
We have partnerships and sub-contractors who may be able to help.
